Game Centre

Real jobs, played for real

The Game Centre is part of the Skuark app. Every game is one career’s actual work. Children play it as their own avatar, and doing the job well is how they win.

How it works

Stars from jobs open the games.

  1. Earn stars at home

Jobs around the house earn gold stars, confirmed by Mum or Dad. Stars add up to job levels: Apprentice, Helper, Gardener and on.

  2. A new level opens a game

Each job level opens that career's game. Play it as your own avatar, with a parent's avatar as the boss.

  3. Do the job well

A job finished and tidied earns purple stars, up to five a day from each game. They count towards the next level and spend in the shop.

For parents

You stay in charge of the games.

  • Mum or Dad choose the game time a day, the hours off, and which games are on.
  • Nothing is bought with money, and there are no prizes left to chance.
  • No adverts, no chat with strangers, and no violence, ever.
  • Purple stars never turn into pocket money: those stay gold.
  • Grown-ups play the same games as themselves, at any level.
  • Each game measures real skills, and only you and your child see the summary.
